I know it's not particular (or limited) to this game, but I can't wait until they figure out a way to make people not look like animated plastic McFarlane toys. Maybe in a few years, I guess.

I'm pretty sure thats dust from something on the cliff and not water. The Chrome engine is pretty advanced, particularly rendering outdoor scenes/terrain/water etc.

theres a couple of new movies at Gamespot of this. Looks pretty damn interesting. You use your whip to kill shit and also to climb inaccessable areas in the game.

People tend to dismiss Techland but they at least try to do some interesting shit.

Seems unlikely that they have AI or animations in the game yet since almost all the characters are standing in the same pose. I like the look of it though.

So, DOF (depth of field) is the new bloom? While I'm liking the lighting in these shots, I'm not too sure about that depth blur- plus the artifacts it seems to create- see the wagon in http://www.shacknews.com/screens.x/callofjuarez/Call+of+Juarez/1/thumbs/062006_callofjuarez_11.jpg , for example.
