When you buy a PC from Dell they ask you export compliance questions, ala patriot act. One of the questions is "Where will this computere be used?"
1. Do they record the answers to the questions?
2. If you use it in a place other than what you state at the time of purchase
can the government use it as an excuse to hassle you?

I didn't realize the Shack-preferred server of Mal'Ganis was PvP, but I joined up anyways. In the event I get ganked, can the attacker then loot my corpse and steal everything I own?
And finally, what's it going to take to join the Shack guild (Still the GCR?) and get one of those cool clan tags?

I've been up late the past few nights working on this.
I know Overburn did a Shacker Map a while back, but I never liked that I couldn't zoom and it made finding people tough. I dig Google Maps and when they opened up the API I started trying to think of something to use to play around with and I thought of this.
I'm not 100% done with this thing yet, but I'm working on it and wanted to give you guys a peek at it.

Is it considered bad form to specify text sizes in pixles? I'm working on cleaning up layout for our departmental site and some of the layout stuff is easier when I use pixles. I'm also concerned about accessability of those with handicaps trying to use the site... will pixle-based fonts scale up an down correctly?

So I spent a few hours with Hulk last night and this morning, and I must say the game lives up to its ultimate destruction title. The amount of moves you can pull off rival ninja gaiden, except with the enviornment being your weapon. You can use street poles as javelins to spear helicopters or alternatively a huge baseball bat capable of knocking anyone who has the displeasure of being on foot, SKY high. There are lots of huge cylendrical objects like boulders, large balls that are on signs (crash the sign grab the ball, throw it around liike crazy watching it richochett off people, cars, buildings leaving a wake of destruction behind it), cars, busses, anything really.
The other great thing about the game is that hulks movement is impeciable. He runs insanely fast, comboed together with his ability to jump HUGE distances, it really awesome watching 2 cobra attack helicopters struggle to keep up with you. I was jumping from high rise to high rise, and mid stride i grabbed a air conditoner, jumped off the building, turned around and HURLED it at the copter, sending it reeling down towards the ground, it recovered right before it hit the ground, and I landed next to it. I punched it so hard it blew up and the chasis flew into the second helicopter blowing IT up! haha...ownage.
You get to level up your attacks extremly fast and the moves really do ADD to the game instead of being a lot of differnt punch kick combos (though there are plenty of those). The Missions so far have been very fun, and the difficulty ramps up nicely with a nice variety of challenges. They make you such a badass that they have to throw an army at you for you to even be challenged, which rules. So far, im enjoying this far more than spiderman 2, and its definetly one of the best superhero games i've played to date.

I've been reading up on other forums, watched the movies and looked at the screenshots and I must say I am very excited about getting my hands on a copy of this game.
First off: A turn based strategy game is always welcome into my pants.

China's branch of "World of Warcraft" is one of the titles listed where the new limit system was being tested for those curious.
In case you don't feel like clicking the link, here's the summary of what this new system does:
Three hours is the limit. After that, your character starts to 'degrade', and if pushed over five hours, "the system cuts the ability level of that player's character to the lowest level allowed by the game." If you just log off and log back in within five hours, the system picks it up and penalizes you. You have to wait five hours after you logoff.

When you delete icons off the desktop of one user, is it possible for them to get deleted off the desktop of another user? A coworker brought in his dell laptop, and I cleaned up his desktop, but now his wife is upset that her links are gone (I checked, she didn't log in as him). Obviously the links can get back easily, but I thought that the desktops were completely seperate.

I thought about recently having an account on Stormreaver but then I saw that alliance has like a 70% to 30% advantage on that server. Bleh! Talk about never seeing any horde to take down! Plus it scares me to think about going up against a shaman ;)
So..has anyone else thought about an account somewhere on another server where the population is more even? I've never logged onto stormweaver before but to me that just seems like bad news IMO with such disparity. Thoughts Alliance WoW menz?
