It's a big week for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, as Capcom swears in its new Mayor of Metro City and welcomes him to the roster. With the Street Fighter V roster continuing to grow, it continues to shake up the competitive scene, as the game's top players continue marching towards this year's Capcom Cup. To give those players even more of an incentive, Capcom is opening up a few more channels to help grow this year's prize pool.

On Tuesday, Capcom re-released the Capcom Pro Tour 2016 DLC to both Steam and the PlayStation Store. This includes the Ring of Destiny Stage, along with Capcom Pro Tour costumes for Chun-Li, Cammy, and Necalli. The Cammy design, in particular, was designed by Capcom Cup 2015 winner Ryota "Kazunoko" Inoue.

The Capcom Pro Tour 2016 is on sale for $4.99 and will remain with that half-off discount until July 3. Capcom is also teasing the return of the Capcom Pro Tour 2017 DLC at a later date. A portion of proceeds from the CPT DLC (including this year's DLC) will go towards the Capcom Cup 2018 prize pool, which starts at a minimum $250,000.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
