E3 2018: Final Fantasy XIV Online X Monster Hunter: World Crossover Revealed

Square Enix has revealed a new crossover event that bring together the likes of both Final Fantasy XIV Online and Monster Hunter: World.

Square Enix's pre- E3 2018 briefing is now underway, and the crew is coming right out of the gates offering a little something for fans of the studio's various IP. In particular, we've learned that Final Fantasy XIV Online will soon play host to a special Monster Hunter: World crossover event.

The team's provided teaser trailer was short and to-the-point, showing a blend of characters from both games coming under siege from a massive dragon, then responding in a remarkably jubilant manner.

We don't know too much else about the crossover event, but we do know that the Final Fantasy XIV Online X Monster Hunter World crossover should be launching sometime this summer. Keep it tuned right here to Shacknews for more E3 2018 coverage.
