Bethesda hosted its fourth annual E3 presentation in Los Angeles tonight and decided to end the event with a bang. Head honcho Todd Howard teased a new single player game for next generation consoles called Starfield. Howard said it was the first all-new franchise game from the studio in over 25 years. A short teaser was shown of a star shining behind a planet with some sort of spacecraft being sucked into an explosion.

No information was given beyond what was seen in the short teaser. Bethesda fans who have been clamoring for something new finally got their wish tonight. Stay tuned to Shacknews for more on Starfield as it develops.
