The vaulting and climbing update for PUBG was delayed earlier this month due to some internal issues and, because this is such a crucial step before the official retail launch, the devs wanted to take their time getting it right so that the tests can run without much hindrance. It appears they've had enough time getting things lined up as the official PUBG twitter account has revealed that the vaulting and climbing update is coming to test servers today.

Test schedule

  • PST: November 13th 06:00 PM – November 14th 06:00 PM
  • CET: November 14th 03:00 AM – November 15th 03:00 AM
  • KST: November 14th 11:00 AM – November 15th 11:00 AM

Region & Modes

  • NA SOLO First-person / Third-person
  • ASIA SOLO First-person / Third-person

In addition to the changes to movement, ballistics have been modified. Bullet drag, accuracy, and hit areas have been changed to give a more realistic touch to the experience, which will further set it apart from PUBG's arguably largest competitor, Fortnite Battle Royale. Full details for the new update can be found on Steam.
