The Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 showcase was home to several new announcements and updates in the world of both companies. However, some details got the slip before their proper reveal. This was the case with Starfield, as the trailer for the highly-anticipated sci-fi RPG got out just before the conference began. At the end of the trailer, we learned that Starfield will be released on November 11, 2022.

The new Starfield trailer showcases all of the intergalactic locations that players will get to visit. At the end, we see a member of Constellation prepared to “launch.” The code given is 11-22-22. This is then confirmed to be the game’s release date - November 11, 2022.

The November 2022 release date puts Starfield nearly a year and a half out. It’s also a noteworthy date, as it also puts Starfield’s launch exactly eleven years after Skyrim’s release.
