Sony's upcoming PlayStation Vita Pets is more-than-a-little-inspired by Nintendogs. But, Sony's doing something Nintendo has never done before: releasing a demo version of their game on mobile.

The appropriately-titled PlayStation Vita Pets is coming to the States on June 3.

EyePet developer Spiral House announced PlayStation Vita Pets today, a dog sim game that also lets you take your pup on adventures around an island. It's only announced for Europe so far.
