Disney Universe, Yoostar, Let's Cheer demos on XBLM

Disney Universe, Yoostar, Let's Cheer demos on XBLM

'Tis the season for hot new game releases, but that doesn't mean other choice software is bowing out of the the competition for your dollars and cents during the industry's busiest time of the year. To whet your appetite for fresh experiences, demos for Disney Universe, Yoostar on MTV, and Let's Cheer have appeared on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Disney Universe looks like a fun platform title, but we're not completely familiar with the other titles. Yoostar on MTV is of particular interest to us, however. In the game, players can insert themselves into MTV shows and music videos (if you can find any of those on MTV, that is). If you could somehow inject yourself into the MTV corporate offices and cancel The Jersey Shore, then this would clearly be front runner for Game of the Year.

'Mutant' content sale on Xbox Live

'Mutant' content sale on Xbox Live

Microsoft has announced this week's Xbox Live discount deals, all centered around a mutant theme. The sale ends July 4, so you can ring in Independence Day with monsters and martial arts reptiles, just like the founding fathers intended. It's in the Constitution somewhere, look it up.

Each of the titles is 50% off, but the prices vary. The sale on Turtles in Time Re-shelled supposedly lasts through July 4, but previous reports claim that an expiring license means the game will be pulled on June 30. If you're interested in "kicking some shell," you might want to jump on that discount toot sweet. Read more »
