Nintendo Downloads: A Four-Pack of Musical Games

If you held this week's batch of downloadable Wii and DSi releases, shaking it gently like you were trying to guess the contents of a Christmas present, you would be treated to a cacophony of tunes from the four musical games released this week. These include lilt line, BIT.TRIP BEAT developer Gaijin's adaptation of the iPhone game, and Violin Paradise, which will let me finally live my dream of being a cello-playing faery.

Virtual Console releases are a lot like buses--you wait weeks for one, then two come along at once. Some hilarious video game observational comedy for you, there. Also in this week's batch of Wii and DSi downloadable releases is Nintendo's watery puzzler Fluidity and an exciting fireplace simulator we're told you may wish to run "while you eat with your family, celebrate with friends or dine with your partner." And why not?

"Oh man! A fireplace simulator for my Wii! Game of the year."
