LocoCycle is about an self-aware combat motorcycle with guns and kung fu skills. Once you get past that insane premise, you might wonder who that was being dragged alongside the motorcycle in the first gameplay trailer. His name is Pablo, and he does not seem to be enjoying the ride even a little bit.

One of the world's finest downloadable content releases is The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles, The Gunstringer's gleefully silly Mad Dog McCree-style interactive gunslinger movie starring Troma mastermind Lloyd Kaufman. The Wavy Tube Man cannot be constrained by mere platforms and DLC shackles, though, and is breaking out onto Windows 8 in a standalone release.

Ms Splosion Man was a hit when it debuted on Xbox Live Arcade last year. But why should 360 players be the only ones to have the fun? Developer Twisted Pixel has announced that their critically-acclaimed platformer is going multiplatform--and in a big way, too.
The explosive run-and-jumper will be available on PC, Windows Phone 7, iPhone, and iPad later this year. It will be the first time a Twisted Pixel game will be available on a mobile device.

In an interview with Gamasutra, Twisted Pixel's chief creative officer Josh Bear admitted that Microsoft's recent acquisition of the independent developer was primarily due to a night of hard drinking. "Microsoft tricked Mike [Wilford, co-founder], Frank [Wilson, co-founder] and I into signing papers that handed the company over to them for 1600 MS points, and a copy of Azurik for the original Xbox." Trademark Twisted Pixel humor.
When offering legitimate answers, Bear discussed the future of the developer now that they are under the wing of Microsoft. Future projects may still include XBLA software or Kinect, but it's really based on "the idea and what we want to do," he said.

The Gunstringer will be sold on the cheap, and include a token for Fruit Ninja Kinect to boot. Twisted Pixel and publisher Microsoft announced today that the game will come to North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia on September 13, and September 16 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It will cost $39.99 in the US, $10 less than the average Kinect title.
