The Ninja Gaiden series pretty much defines what makes a game hardcore. So, Team Ninja's decision to add PlayStation Move support to its upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3 seemed peculiar, to say the least.

"With PlayStation Move, you can make the motion of cutting an enemy down," Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi explained. "I feel it’s more the casual gamer that will use PS Move and it will make this kind of game more accessible to them."

The party at this week's Game Developers Conference started off with a bang today with Tecmo releasing the first trailer for Ryu Hayabusa's next blood-soaked adventure.

Ninja Gaiden 3 will be the first game to be in development at Team Ninja without Tomonobu Itagaki at the helm. The game was first revealed during a private Tokyo event in mid-September 2010. Read more »
