Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will release on September 24, Konami announced today. The long-running soccer franchise is switching to Kojima's FOX Engine for this iteration, so the sports title will be the first to put it through its paces.

PES 2013 demo kicked onto PC and Xbox 360

And the traditional cry goes up, "Kick the ball! Kick it with your foot! Put your foot to the ball to make a football that's footbaaall!" You see, the crowd knows Konami has released a demo for Pro Evolution Soccer Football 2013, available now for PC and Xbox 360 and due on PlayStation 3 next week.

PES 2013 announced for fall

"Let's kick that ball!" The famous footie chant will once again ring out this fall, as Konami has announced PES 2013. The wholly expected next annual installment in the Pro Evolution Soccer series is, according to Konami, "the most faithful recreation of modern day football to date," though it seems both PES and FIFA toss similar claims about every year.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 to get two demos

There was a time when Pro Evolution Soccer (or PES) was referred to as Winning Eleven in North America, which directly coincided with the game's domination of the football (aka soccer) video game world.

Over the years, things have changed. The Winning Eleven name is gone and EA Sports has taken over the space with its FIFA franchise. It looks like Konami is looking to fight back by announcing two demos will be released for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012.
