Ngmoco founders leave company

Neil Young and Bob Stevenson, two founders of Ngmoco, have announced they are leaving the iOS-focused game studio. It was acquired by Japanese publisher DeNA in 2010 for more than $400 million, as part of a push into the US market.

Android's Mobage gaming platform now in English-speaking territories

In what its parent company DeNA describes as the first stage of a global rollout, developer ngmoco has announced that its social mobile gaming platform for Android, called Mobage, has been released today for a host of English-speaking countries around the world, as well as China.

Mobage's user population in Japan already exceeds 30 million.
