I'm not really a fan of pranking on April Fools Day. There have been plenty of attempts in the gaming industry to pull off believability over the years, some amusing and some that just fell flat. This year, it is still a bit early, but I think we already have a winner.
Google Chrome didn't launch explicitly as a games platform, but it's made a few strides in that direction. It started with some Facebook parity and ubiquitous games like Angry Birds and Bejeweled, but that quickly gave way to more core support with the launch of Bastion last year. Porting games that were part of Xbox 360 promotions is proving popular, as Ubisoft announced From Dust will be making the trek in April.
