The Nintendo 3DS is only a few weeks old in North America, and already one of its games has been postponed indefinitely. BloodRayne: The Shroud was a new franchise title tucked into Nintendo's press kit when it unveiled the 3DS at E3. The company listed over 60 games, BloodRayne from Majesco among them, and most of them have been moderately quiet since then.

Now responding to a fan on Facebook, Majesco has announced that the game is delayed. Word came from the account for BloodRayne Betrayal, the recently announced XBLA/PSN downloadable title being developed by WayForward. "The 3DS title is currently on hold," it read.
