Capcom opens mobile subsidiary Beeline Interactive

Capcom is jumping into the mobile games market with a new dedicated subsidiary, reports Siliconera. The new brand is called Beeline Interactive Japan, and will focus on making social games for mobile devices in Asian territories.

Beeline won't be adopting known Capcom franchises, instead focusing on new intellectual property creation. If Capcom decides it wants one of its known brands like Resident Evil or Street Fighter to have a mobile version, it will be published under the usual Capcom label.
