Blacksmith Games' "Appvent Calendar" has returned for its second, annual incarnation bringing free, daily iPhone game and app promotions, which will presumably run through the month of December (via TouchArcade). While there are other, ongoing promotional sites like this, last year's Appvent selection tended to be a bit better than its peers.

The first game, available for free today, is Time Geeks, which is described as "a revolutionary seek and find game based on awesome Pixel Art graphics, retro style and a lot of fun." Read more »
