Racing fans who have invested in televisions from the future are in for a treat as a stereoscopic 3D-enabled MotorStorm will launch on PSN tomorrow, the PlayStation Blog revealed.

Priced at $9.99, MotorStorm 3D Rift from Evolution Studios is a downloadable version of the multi-vehicle racing franchise featuring 10 tracks from 2008's MotorStorm Pacific Rift. Although the title is built to showcase the 3D future, SCEA producer Daimion Pinnock assures gamers that the game is "wicked fun" in 2D.

According to the blog post, MotorStorm 3D Rift will include one "unique" event per track with a full range of "competitor difficulty levels through the races." As expected, MotorStorm 3D Rift will feature multiple vehicles, from bikes to trucks.

Sony tells Shacknews that MotorStorm 3D Rift will not feature online or offline multiplayer action, confirming the release is only a single-player affair. Previously, Sony released a 3D-enabled demo of MotorStorm Pacific Rift.

MotorStorm Apocalypse, the third retail release in the racing series planned for 2011, is also set to include stereoscopic 3D racing.
