Looks fairly slow paced... Hopefully the story keeps it entertaining.

Of course it's not finished yet... So music will add more atmosphere... Also the fx aren't polished yet.

Yeah the dialog continues to be embarrassingly hokey, and the combat and animations aren't great either. Given how long its been in development it's bound to be a massive game, I just hope it's good too. :/

Yeah, I'm thinking this game must be EPICALLY huge.

Really. Plus they've paid a guy to create 4 made-up languages for it, thats insane.

guys its slow cause right now its still being developed. Having the action run at a slower pace then in the finished game allows them to test things like balancing etc more effectively. The speed at which they were swinging those swords was ridiculously slow so its obviously not the way its going to be in the finished game.

That doesn't really make any sense... Balancing a game should be based on the actual player experience...

I'm sure the developers of Guitar Hero didn't slow down all their songs to see if users could press the buttons effectively because all the playtesting would have been invalidated when they were played at full speed.

Yes, of course, how could we have forgotten - Guitar Hero is an RPG and we should test everything like Guitar Hero.

If you want to check the stats & algorithms, slowing things down makes a lot of sense.

RPG's are boring to watch, but they're fun to play.

Dunno... Reminds me of grinding in a MMORPG.

I'll add that I'm the type of player that wishes there existed an RPG that leverages more FPS mechanics... Similar to the real-time nature of Fable 2, but with a more hardcore edge to it. Maybe I should replay Heretic?

combat never looks that fun to play in rpgs. The combat in balders gate wasn't fun to watch but it will probably be fun to play. I think that the game looks awesome.
