Electronic Arts today announced that DICE's first person platform-action title Mirror's Edge has gone gold.

To mark the occasion, EA also passed along the final trailer for the game. The short montage contains a look at a few levels--and color schemes--we haven't seen before.

Mirror's Edge is set to ship next Tuesday, November 11, on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version will hit sometime in the next few months.

It's only going gold 5 days before release? That's pretty unusual, no?

Maybe they get a set of crazy rooftop free runners to deliver the discs.

gone gold announcements hardly ever coincide with the game actually going gold

Actually EA is responsible for distributing all Valve's box stuff, as well as a ton of other games, their publishing and distribution channels are second to none. Now, I'm talking US, and like 2 years ago. Their Asian distribution was a little weak, but NA is second to none. 5 days, wonder how many games they have to turn out per hour to ship enough copies for launch?
