PlayStation Network Goes Down for Maintenance
The PlayStation 3's online service for multiplayer and digital downloads will be down later today for maintenance purposes, Sony has confirmed with Joystiq.
The service will be unavailable today from 2PM - 7 PM EDT / 11AM - 4PM PDT.
It is unknown exactly what the maintenance entails, though PSP owners will soon gain direct access to the online PlayStation Store via a new firmware update due this month.
