I remember Kung Fu Chess, some flash app, was pretty fun. You didn't have to wait for you opponent to make a move even!

Does anyone remember a game similar to Battle Chess from around 1994 or so. It was fantasy themed and your pieces were wizards, giants, demons, and such. When the pieces moved they were all very well animated to move over the battlefield that represented the board. I remember one of the pieces, I believe the bishop, instead of moving across the squares would summon a portal and sink into the ground then appear in the selected square by coming out of another portal. Shitty description, I know, but hopefully it will ring a bell with someone.
