Undertow Takes Xbox Live Arcade Nov. 21

Undertow, the Unreal Engine 3-powered underwater shooter from Chair Entertainment, will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, November 21 and sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

Based on the childhood drawings of creative director Donald Mustard, the game features four different playable units, each with their own attributes. As previously announced, it also allows up to 16 players to battle in its online component.

Undertow marks the first release from Chair Entertainment, a studio mainly comprised of Advent Rising (PC, Xbox) veterans from GlyphX. It is also developing Empire, a multi-medium project created by novelist Orson Scott Card.

Maybe I'm getting old but I couldn't follow any of the action in that trailer.

Looks beautiful and fresh! Yea, I couldn't follow the action either but I imagine you have to be playing it to follow it similar to geometry wars.... Some people get sick looking at an FPS game but are fine when they play it.

Seemed to be a very pretty Geometry Wars, but in a side scroller (instead of a box that never moves).
