According to this report by Variety, Lionsgate has acquired the rights to create a movie based on the upcoming Eidos published action game Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. The production team for the movie will include Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter, who are also producing the Hitman (another Eidos property) movie for 20th Century Fox. There's no word as to when we can expect to see the movie. The game itself is due out later this year on Xbox 360 and PC.

This is true. They have some shitters, but by in large, they are better than a ton of other studios pound for pound.

Agreed. Lionsgate did start out pretty slow but they're a damn good movie
company now. I'm a horror movie buff and their offerings in that genre have mainly been top notch. I think in a few years, they'll be on par with New Line Cinema(whom I consider just under the "majors" like Fox, Sony, MGM, etc.).

Thats right, they made Punisher. Tom Jane's Punisher sucked. Have they ever made a decent movie?

So you think the Dolph Lundgren "Punisher" is better than Lionsgate's offering? If you say "yes" you fail.

Well they both suck really bad but Lundgren's movie was slightly better. Ofcourse thats sort of like saying one turd has more peanuts thus is "better"

The Thomas Jane Punisher sucked harder because THEY HAD GARTH ENNIS AVAILABLE, and still made a poor Punisher movie. At least with the Dolph movie we didn't know how hardcore, coldbloodedly vicious Frank Castle truly was...
They actually used Ennis characters and it was bad. The Apartment Building (& Tenants) and The Russian were Ennis'...They actually kinda improved The Russian; made him less slapstick silly, but reduced his hitpoints by 90%.
