PlayStation Now Brings PlayStation 4 Games to PC

You can play PS4 on your PC soon.

PlayStation Now, Sony's game streaming service available for PlayStation 4 and PC, will start supporting PS4 games soon. Sony hasn't commented on which PlayStation 4 games will be available on PlayStation Now, or if there'll be a change in the pricing structure for the service.

Currently, PlayStation Now is $19.99 a month and features over 450 PlayStation 3 titles. The service is available on PlayStation 3, PS Vita, PlayStation TV, PlayStation 4, and PC, but the PS3, Vita, and PSTV will not longer be able to connect to the service after Sony discontinues support for them in August. More than likely we'll only see the new PlayStation 4 titles on PlayStation Now for PlayStation 4 and PC.

The announcement of new PlayStation 4 titles coming to PlayStation Now comes only days after Microsoft announced their monthly game subscription, Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass will be available for $9.99 a month and will offer subscribers a changing library of Xbox 360 and Xbox One games. Xbox Game Pass will also allow players to download the games to their console, which will help those with less than optimal internet connections avoid the pitfalls of game streaming.

Who will be the king of game streaming? We'll find out when we get a chance to check out PlayStation Now's new PS4 options and Xbox Game Pass.

Nice, maybe I won't have to buy a PS4 to play Horizon Zero Dawn

I did a month if Ps now back in February. It's still too laggy for me to enjoy. Even in a super fast wired connection I can't play a game where you press the stick or button and there's that lag before something happens in screen. It's like playing underwater. It's ok I guess for like turn based games but anything involving platforms or a 3d space was blehh

Once Sony irons out PS Now's issues, I think adding PS4 games will give them a(nother) leg up on Microsoft. They needed a corollary to Xbox Play Anywhere; while this isn't the same thing, it's close enough. Now it just needs to be good enough.

It would be great if this allows me to play the Pro version of Last Guardian. Should be playable with an extra 50ms of lag or so, right?
