Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Owa Daim Shrine Guide

Here’s how to find the solution and get the chest in the Stasis Trial.

Owa Daim Shrine is where you’ll find the Stasis Rune in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Stasis Rune can stop time for certain objects. When time has been stopped for objects with Stasis, you can apply force to them still. When time starts again for an object, all the force you applied through attacks or bombs will hit the object all at once, letting you push much heavier objects than you usually can. Owa Daim’s stasis trial will get you acquainted with Stasis, and show some of the types of puzzles you’ll see throughout Breath of the Wild.

Owa Daim Location

Owa Daim Shrine is somewhat challenging to get to in comparison to Ja Baij and Oman Au. You can find Owa Daim in the mountains in the Southeastern part of the Great Plateau. You’ll have to do some climbing and either fight or avoid Boboblins to get there.

Owa Daim Shrine Solution

Head to the left upon entering Owa Daim Shrine to obtain the Stasis Rune from the Guardian Stone. Then use Stasis on the spinning cog when the bridge is lined up with the ledge.

Cross over the bridge and use Stasis on the rolling stone ball, and then hit it with your weapon to transfer kinetic energy to it. Once Stasis runs out, all the attacks you hit the stone ball with will affect it at once and knock it out of your way.

Take a left at the fork and use Stasis on the ball sitting on the narrow walkway in the way of the Sage. Attack it the way you did the previous stone ball, and it’ll be pushed out of your way, and you can make your way to the sage and exit the shrine.

Owa Daim Shrine Chest

At the fork, go right instead of left. Use Stasis on the stone ball that drops from the ceiling and attack it to knock it out of the way. You can then proceed past it and to the Owa Daim Shrine chest.

One last shrine remains on the Great Plateau. Find out how to locate it and its solution in our The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild guide.
