Horizon: Zero Dawn has been pushing a long toward its release in late February, with very little being said outside of the big events. Of course, since the game is PS4 only,  PlayStation Experience 2016 is a BIG event, and developer Guerrilla Games offered up a new trailer to remind everyone just why this game has some high expectations.

The trailer shows off some gorgeous world vistas and main protagonist Aloy going after the mechanical beasts that inhabit the land, including one that looks like it was pulled from the movie Avatar. The crux of the video was "You have to make the kill," and "Can you unlock the deep secrets of the earth," which hints at the story behind the machines.

Later in the event, Narrative Director John Gonzalez and Managing Director Herman Hulst of Guerilla Games came on to talk about the lore behind the game and how Aloy vs. the machine creatures came about.

Here is the panel discussion, with the trailer from the Showcase played again within the first minute. Take a look. The game will launch on Febraury 28.
