New details on Switch may be few and far between for next few months

Apparently Nintendo wants to let us think about the reveal for awhile.

After the huge splash that Nintendo made revealing the Switch yesterday, the company is apparently content with that for now, and doesn't plan on releasing any more information for the next few months.

Takashi Mochizuki, a Tokyo-based tech writer for the Wall Street Journal, tweeted that "Nintendo: no more official announcement would come this year on 1) game titles 2) spec details, including region-lock status."

The move, if Nintendo follows through with the radio silence, isn't too surprising given that the console-handheld hybrid won't launch until some time in March of next year. We do know some of the partners and a few of the games, although some publishers are still being a bit hush-hush about their plans. If you missed the reveal, check out the the roundup of everything we know about the Switch so far. That will have to suffice until Nintendo loosens the leash on its marketing team.
