Gears of War 4 patch resolves hitching problems

Gears of War 4 issues fixed with an update.

The Coalition, developer for Gears of War 4, revealed a new patch that will relieve the hitching problems some players have experienced.

The hitching issues pertain to the Xbox One version of the game, not the PC version. Since the PC version didn’t have this problem, there wasn’t a need for the patch.

It was stated by the developer that a title update addresses the hitching problems. However, the update that will fix these problems will temporarily shut down offline local area network multiplayer between Xbox Ones and PCs.

Cross-play online wasn’t affected by these issues and still works just like it normally does. It would appear that crowd perception of there needing to be an update on the Gears of War 4 forum is relatively positive, with the main positive reaction being that the problem is getting fixed quickly.

The forum also has a running thread that will keep an eye on issues players have with Gears of War 4 so any issues the players have will get back to the developers and hopefully fixed.
