EA showcases 12 minutes of footage from Battlefield 1's campaign

Newest gameplay from Battlefield 1 shows the ills of war.

Electronic Arts brought the newest single player gameplay footage of Battlefield 1 to the masses at this year’s Twitchcon (via Westie).

You’ll get an up-close and personal intro into what makes war hell. If it wasn’t close combat with flamethrowers, it was driving your tank through the debris of fallen homes and bodies. You’ll assume the role of several soldiers, each with a different story to tell during the trials and tribulations of wartime. It just goes to show that the tried and true formula of “war-time chaos” still gets the job done.

Battlefield 1 releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 21.
