While Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will introduce a futuristic space theme to the first-person shooter series, that won;t keep developer Infinity Ward from offering a bit of 1980's nostalgia for its Zombies mode.

Zombies in Spaceland was revealed at GamesCom as a new undead survival co-op mode that will be part of the game when it launches on November 4. The mode actually has a bit of story two it, focusing on four actors who are invited to an audition at a mysterious movie theater by director Willard Wyler, who looks like (and is voiced by) Paul 'Pee-wee Herman" Reubens. The hook is that they are transformed into characters from the movie and to fight against zombies at a space-themed amusement park.

Players will take the role of the jock, the nerd, the valley girl or the rapper, voiced by actors Seth Green, Ike Barinholtz, Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata. Even David Hasselhoff makes an appearnace as a theme park DJ who will help the players escape.

If you pre-order Infinite Warfare, you'll get a bonus pack of  a unique zombies weapon camo, zombies weapon reticle, animated zombies calling card and Fate & Fortune card pack. The popular and revamped Terminal multiplayer map will be included.

“Call of Duty and zombies in particular has such an incredible history with passionate fans, which inspired us to take all the co-op action that has made the series so great and fuse it with one of our favorite decades in pop culture: the ’80s,” said Brian Bright, project director at Infinity Ward, in a press release. “Zombies in Spaceland is an all-new zombies experience where day-glow meets fright nights. It’s accessible for new players, but also has a deep layer of progression, brimming with easter eggs and various game features that will be a blast for hardcore zombies fans. We can’t wait for fans to go hands-on this fall.”
