Sword Coast Legends launched last year with much fanfare. Shack had it as one of its most anticipated games of E3 2015, and was a surprise of the show. Now console players can get their hands on the game, as it has launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game will include the Rage of Demons DLC as part of the $19.99 purchase price, and is available through the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace. The game, set in D&D's Forgotten Realms, allows players to adventure solo, or join up to three other players online. It also has a Dungeon Master mode where players can play against the DM. The Dungeon Crawl multiplayer allows DMs to place monsters and edit encounters on-the-fly as players explore. DMs can choose from 10 different tilesets, more than 700 placeable objects, and 100 unique monsters. Unfortunately, the custom DM Campaign Creation mode will remain exclusive to the PC version.

The game received moderate reviews, with a decent campaign, but falling short on the expansiveness of the DM modes. Developer n-Space closed it doors in March of this year, and publisher Digital Extremes picked up the development of the console versions.
