It could either be brilliant or your worst nightmare, but 20th Century Fox has decided to combine five of its animated TV shows into one mobile card game.

Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards has been unveiled as a partnership between Fox and Kongregate, and will merge Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, Futurama and Bob's Burgers into a collectible card game for mobile devices. The only series missing is the Simpsons, which has a separate game deal with Electronic Arts.

“In Animation Throwdown, Peter Griffin will duke it out with Bob Belcher, or Leela, or even Hank Hill. Fans get to select their all-star lineup in this inventive, genre-bending game,” said Rick Phillips, executive VP of Fox Digital Entertainment said in a release.

Kongreagate will be co-developing the game with Synapse Games and Chinzilla Games. The game is scheduled for release some time in Q3 of this year on iOS and Android, with plans for release on other platforms down the road.
