NIS America has announced Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on September 13, 2016 in North America and September 16, 2016 in Europe.

In addition to today’s launch date reveal, NIS America revealed the PS4 and Vita versions will have a Limited Edition. The Limited Editions will include a Deluxe Softcover Art Book, a soundtrack CD, a 3 pencil board, and a microfiber cloth all within a collectible box.

The Limited Editions will retail for $69.99 for the PS4 version, while the Vita version will sell for $59.99

The publisher first announced the Psycho-Pass title would be making its way to the West earlier this year. Its official website has also launched today and sheds some light as to what kind of story we can expect from Mandatory Happiness, which includes two new detectives that have been assigned to the MWPSB Criminal Investigation Department Division 1. Nadeshiko Kugatachi is an Inspector whose memories have been wiped, while Takuma Tsurugi is an Enforcer who is searching for his missing childhood friend.

The website even tells us each detectives’ side of their story, even highlighting two case files we can expect to attempt to solve during our time in Mandatory Happiness. One case file involves a missing female high school student, while another case involves child abuse and abduction.
