The Division's beta is finally here, although PC owners who use Steam had a bit of a scare earlier today.

This weekend will be all about The Division as Ubisoft has opened the floodgates for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners to experience a taste of what the game has to offer in the form of a beta. Unfortunately, it appears PC owners had some issues accessing the beta on Steam earlier today.

A number of reports from Steam users popped up on the Steam forums, which Ubisoft took to its own forums to reveal they were working on the issue. In a statement written on its forums, Ubisoft says, “We've noticed on the forums that some Steam players are unable to access the beta for Tom Clancy's The Division. We are actively reaching out to Steam to resolve the issue and will keep you updated as we know more.”

Thankfully, Ubisoft updated its statement to announce the issue affecting Steam users has now been resolved.

If you’re participating in this weekend’s The Division beta, prepare to start at Manhattan’s Chelsea Pier where you’ll be able to experience some of the early story-driven missions where you can team up with other agents, or against them in the PvP-enabled Dark Zone.
