Valkyria: Azure Revolution story details and teaser trailer released

There's a lot to fight over on in the new Valkyria game.

Sega revealed it’s currently developing a new Valkyria Chronicles game, titled Valkyria: Azure Revolution, for a winter 2016 release in Japan. Today, the publisher released a teaser video of the game, which is being described as a “death-opposing RPG.”

Additional details surrounding the game have also been revealed on its official website, which has been translated by Anime News Network. The Azure Revolution was sparked by a select few who started heavy magical industries in order to exploit Ragnite’s full potential after it was discovered to supply “magical art.” The revolution transformed both industry and society itself, and the use of Ragnite changed the face of history, as well as warfare.

Valkyria: Azure Revolution takes place in 1853, one hundred years after the beginning of the Azure Revolution. The European nation of Jutland launches an assault against a base of the Rus Empire, which forced them to retaliate with an economic blockade and embargo. As a result, Jutland became impoverished, and in order to survive, proclaimed “independence and liberation from the colonialism of the great powers” and declared war on the Rus Empire, who has employed a Valkyria under the terms of the “Ring” contract.

That’s certainly a lot to take in, although we’re sure it’ll make more sense once we get our hands on the game. Unfortunately, Sega has yet to announce a Western release, but considering how popular the series has been in the region, we’re sure it’ll only be a matter of time until an announcement is made. In the meantime, check out the new teaser trailer below:

Valkyria Chronicles 2 didn't sell on the dying platform that was the PSP so how do we sell more copies? Massive mammaries.

That said I'm still excited to see how this turns out. I loved the first game.

Oh wow you're right. I remember them being a bit more reasonable that the Soul Caliber Ivy level boobs in the still for this video.

That's been in the series since the first one. I think Alicia even has a bigger busom specifically when she's wielding the Valkur weapons.
