It isn't the first time Disney Infinity is releasing for Apple iOS devices, but it was recently announced that the newest version will have a special starter pack for the Apple TV Edition.

Polygon reports that the Disney 3.0 starter pack will include Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka figures, the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic playset, a wireless Disney Infinity 3.0 themed bluetooth base, and an MFi (which stands for "Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod") controller that is designed specifically to play the game on Apple TV, which sort of goes against the acronym - but whatever.

No word yet on what company makes the controller, but details on the matter are expected to release sometime soon. 

The new Apple TV was revealed yesterday and will release in late October with the starting base model price of $149. We reviewed the console version of Disney Infinity 3.0, and loved its presentation and style, but was disappointed with the combat.
