It was a big weekend for professional wrestling, "sports entertainment," or whatever you want to call it. But now that WWE Summerslam is in the books, it's time to look ahead to the upcoming WWE 2K16, as 2K Sports has released another handful of names set to join the roster.

As has been the case for the past couple of reveals, the names are a mixture of current superstars and retired (possibly even departed) legends. They include:

  • Alicia Fox
  • Bam Bam Bigelow
  • The Big Show
  • Cameron
  • Cesaro
  • Darren Young
  • Diamond Dallas Page
  • Dolph Ziggler
  • Finlay
  • Kevin Nash
  • Layla
  • Lex Luger
  • The Miz
  • Naomi
  • Randy Orton
  • Sheamus
  • Titus O'Neil
  • Tyson Kidd

This adds another 18 names to what 2K Sports is already calling the largest roster in series history. To learn more about the WWE 2K16 roster, The Terminator, and everything else set to come in the game, Shacknews spoke to producer Mark Little. That interview can be seen below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
