Blizzard’s celebrating the fifth anniversary of its popular real-time strategy game, Starcraft 2. As you’d expect, Blizzard is celebrating this milestone in a number of unique ways.

A 5th anniversary portrait will be awarded to Starcraft 2 players who play anytime between July 27 to August 3. Once you’re awarded the special portrait, you’ll be able join in the celebration while in-game.

Speaking of in-game celebrations, Blizzard is delivering truckloads of celebratory virtual confetti to the StarCraft 2 universe. When various units are defeated, they’ll explode into a pile of virtual confetti, which thankfully, doesn’t need to be cleaned up afterwards.

If you prefer to do your celebrating in real life, Blizzard will be adding new wallpaper to mark StarCraft 2’s fifth anniversary as well as offering additional ways to earn some swag. All you have to do is keep an eye out on the game’s official website.
