Kingdom Hearts 3 makes a showing at the Square Enix E3 2015 press conference, starting with a video called Tangled.

Live from the Square Enix E3 2015 press conference, the first gameplay video for Kingdom Hearts 3 premiered. The video begins with two people (one of them being Sephiroth) playing a chess-like game and talking about the Lost Masters and the Keyblade War. It then goes into high action as Sora  battles his way across a number of different environments on the brand new world the game is set in. There's a scene where Sora must run up a wall in order to fight a rock giant.

Of course, he has access to different Keyblades, can hover in the air for a short while to swing at foes, and use special powers, like blasting enemies with fire. Let's not forget that he can call upon Disney friends like Goofy and Donald Duck to assist in fighting.

Other abilities include summoning a objects made from lights, like a roller coaster train, a ship (perhaps from the Caribbean ride?), a giant spinning teacups ride, and a winged horse and chariot to plow through enemies. Near the end of the gameplay video, Sora gains a special Keyblade that transforms into a pair of rapid fire pistols, then changes again into a high-powered rifle.

The trailer ends cryptically, with Sephiroth explaining that the "future is already written" and that light will fail and darkness prevails. However, his opponent (a new character to the series?) suggests that he can go back and change things so that events work out in the Light's favor. The Light can be suprising, and fans can't wait to find out what that means.

Additionally Walt Disney Animation Stuidios is working in collaboration with Square Enix to create a Kingdom Hearts 3 animated series called Tangled. Although there isn't much more detail on the video series other than it's being worked on, it's a very promising concept.

Unfortunately, no release date was announced, but the game appears to be shaping up very nicely.
