"I am Magneto, master of magnet!"

"X-Men, welcome to DIE!"

"I kill you, X-Chicken! YOU ARE DEAD! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Ok, have we gotten all that out of our systems? Good!

Welcome to Shack's Arcade Corner, a segment dedicated to evaluating some of the best arcade cabinets of the past. Following the pilot that introduced viewers to Captain America and the Avengers, it was only appropriate to move on to another famous Marvel property. This time, it's the one that gets the most love on the Internet. It's X-Men!

Join Greg Burke as he looks into the X-Men arcade game's origins, as well as its different variants. Now with 100% less memes. Catch the full video below!

I loved dumping quarters into 4- and 6-player arcade games. It was the easiest way to get all your friends in on the action during an era when most consoles only supported 2 players, and not always simultaneously. TMNT was my particular fave, but Simpson and X-MEN were great, too.

I'd love a six player MAME cab one day for precisely those games. Kinda overkill for the amount of play time it'd get, but still awesome.
