During this morning’s Windows 10 presentation, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer took the stage to introduce us to some of the upcoming operating system’s focus on gaming.

One of the first areas Spencer introduced us to was the Xbox app, which he says will be included in every copy of Windows 10. The Xbox app contains many features Xbox One owners have been enjoying for months now, such as the Activity feed, Friends list, and Messages.

Windows 10 users will be able to interact with Xbox owners seamlessly as things like voice and text chat will be possible, and the new OS will also borrow a couple of Xbox features, such as a built-in game DVR and the ability to comment and like activities. Players will also be able to join those playing on Xbox One, so long as the PC version of the game being played supports cross-platform play.
