CD Projekt Red has been very busy with its new installments of The Witcher franchise. Beyond The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt set to come out next year, the studio is also working on a mobile free-to-play MOBA called The Witcher Battle Arena. During our time at Gamescom, Shacknews had a chance to speak to one of the game's developers, Tadek Zielinski, about the game and how it adds to the whole Witcher world.

Zielinski goes into many of the standard MOBA features included in the game, which includes three distinct classes. He also discusses some of the unique mechanics that The Witcher Battle Arena brings to the table, such as the ability to carry two different consumable items into every battle.

To learn more about The Witcher Battle Arena, be sure to check out our interview below. The game is expected to hit iOS in Q4 2014, with Android and Windows Phone versions expected later down the line.
