Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call now has an official release date: September 16. Square Enix paired the announcement with word of a Collector's Edition and a pre-order bonus.

The Collector's Edition is actually a limited run, as Square will only be producing 5,000 copies. It will include a 3DS pouch, five CollectaCards, and two CDs: The Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, and Remix Selections. It will cost a whopping $69.99 and be available directly through Square Enix's online store.

Pre-ordering the regular game will grant you access to a "Limited Edition," which includes the Remix Selections CD. Yes, it's bizarre that the Collector's Edition is actually limited, and the Limited Edition probably isn't. Try not to think too much about it.
