Weekend PC download deals: the best The Bureau: XCOM Declassified pre-order

By Alice O'Connor, Aug 16, 2013 1:00pm PDT

If you're looking forward The Bureau: XCOM Declassified's launch next week, the best deal on it this weekend is a pre-order for $36 or less, with the original X-Com games, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown and its DLCs thrown in on top.

Other PC download bargains I slap into this list as I drink fizzy cheap wine (not out the bottle or anything, that'd be classless) include Serious Sam 3 for $4, TrackMania 2 Stadium for $5, everything Tropico 4 for $10, Grid 2 for $27, and loads of fine bundles.

Here's our selection of this weekend's PC deals:

Using the code GFDAUG20 gets you 20% off everything, which you'll need for (roughly) these prices:

Bundle Stars

Pay $5.03 for AirBuccaneers, Chaser, Dogfight 1942, Genesis Rising, Men of War: Condemned Heroes, Numen: Contest of Heroes, Pid, Really Big Sky, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Gold, and Tower Wars. All activate on Steam.

Get Games

GOG's big D&D sale increases the discount with each extra game you buy, from 40% for one up to $75% for all ten (that's $26.40 for the whole lot).

Green Man Gaming

GMG is offering 20% off almost everything with the voucher code GMG20-4B9NY-L4FEN, which you'll need to get almost all of these prices (except all that XCOM):

Or 25% off these with the code GMG25-OGRUH-7SM8H:

Humble Bundle

Pay what you want for Burnout Paradise, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, and Mirror's Edge. Beat the average price to also get Battlefield 3, The Sims 3, and The Sims 3: Late Night. All offer Origin keys, and some do Steam too.

Or pay what you want for Botanicula, McPixel, Thomas Was Alone, and The Showdown Effect. Beat the average price to get Amnesia: The Dark Descent too. All come with Steam keys.

Indie Gala

Pay what you want for Doom & Destiny, Miner Warfare, and Oniken. Beat, er, an ever-changing price (currently $3.13) to also get Aura: Fate of the Ages, Exceed: Gun Bullet Children, Exceed 2nd, Space Pirates and Zombies, and Painkiller: Redemption. Pay a bit more ($5.16 as I write) to also get Exceed 3rd, Hydrophobia: Prophecy, Painkiller: Recurring Evil, Sacraboar, and Trainz Simulator 2012. Most activate on Steam.

Or pay more than $0.99 for Disciples III: Renaissance, and more than $4.99 to get Disciples III: Resurrection too. Both come as Steam keys.

Or pay more than $0.99 for Darkstar One, Patrician III, and The Great Art Race. Beat $3.99 for Patrician IV too. Yes, Steam.

OR pay at least $0.99 for Sacred Gold, and more than $3.99 for Disciples II: Gallean's Return and Disciples II: Rise of the Elves. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes, they're Steam keys.

Steam's Kalypso sale has more games than I'd ever list here, so I've thrown in the highlights with the rest:
