Call of Duty: Ghosts adds 'Free Fall' pre-order bonus map

Battlefield 4 is all about "levolution," EA's gimmicky marketing term used to describe the nonetheless impressive amount of destruction you can cause in the environment. And Activision is saying "hey, we can do the same thing" with its newest pre-order incentive.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch with a special multiplayer map for gamers that pre-order. "Free Fall" is a bonus downloadable map that features what Activision calls "dynamic map events."

Oddly, "Free Fall" also features a collapsing skyscraper. Here's how Activision describes it:

Free Fall drops players into a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse. Sideways staircases climb into the night sky, elevator shafts run along the ground, and what were once windows now form a terrifying glass floor, hundreds of feet above the city streets.

Unfortunately, there's no video accompanying this release, so we can't quite see how Call of Duty compares with Battlefield. One thing is clear: buildings are not safe in FPS games this holiday.
