Nintendo outlined a slew of release dates during today's Nintendo Direct, which focused on its release plans for the summer. You'll be able to play Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, and Game & Wario before autumn (technically) begins.
The long-delayed Pikmin 3 is finally coming on August 4, assuming it doesn't get delayed again. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata talked a little about the story mode, which involves three new captains besides the series mainstay Olimar: Alph, Brittany, and Charlie. The trio are on a search for food to save their starving home planet. Iwata also detailed the control options for the game. You can use a GamePad, Pro Controller, or Wii Remote and Nunchuck using the GamePad as a monitor. The GamePad also supports off-screen play.
Game & Wario is coming June 23, for $39.99. Meanwhile, Platinum Games' The Wonderful 101 barely squeaks into a summer slot on September 15.
Finally, the Zelda games Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are coming to 3DS on May 30. They'll normally be priced $5.99 each. Between May 30 and June 20 they'll be $4.99 apiece instead, to encourage players to pick up both versions since they're meant to be played in tandem.
