Sacred Citadel, the side-scrolling beat-em-up and Sacred 3 prologue, has set a date with destiny -- or at least with PlayStation Network. Deep Silver announced today that the game will be available on PSN on April 16.
The company made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, alongside the reveal of the fourth playable character. The Seraphim Mage will join the other three (Ancarian Ranger, the Safiri Warrior, and Khukuri Shaman), and deals magic damage from a safe spot in the back.
Today's announcement didn't detail PC or Xbox 360 dates, so Shacknews has contacted Deep Silver to clarify when those will be coming. In the meantime, check out a featurette on the new character.
