As expected, publisher Konami has confirmed that the two Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC packs starring Jetstream Sam and Blade Wolf, which it announced a while back for Japan, will indeed come westward. They're due to arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 "starting this April," priced at $7 a pop.

The cybersamurai and robowolf will be playable in their DLCs, naturally with their own weapons and abilities. They'll be side-stories with "multiple hours of gameplay," which Konami says which expand on "each of their storylines and origins." Cybersamurai and robowolf!

The first Revengeance DLC dropped on Tuesday: 30 new PlayStation 3-exclusive VR missions that are free to download until April 3.

Our Andrew described Revengeance as "a deeply flawed game that manages to nonetheless be likeable" in his review, which "even has its moments of brilliance."
